Nick Rosenberg
Nick lead the Firm’s music department and its Washington, D.C. office. After having spent the bulk of his career working in the corporate departments of Amlaw 100 law firms, Nick launched Rosenberg Law LLC in 2019, extending his corporate practice to include a roster of clients in the music, television, and digital content businesses. Nick was named one of Billboard’s Top Music Lawyers in 2021 and 2024,
Nick brings an understanding of all the ways music plays a role in every facet of the media, entertainment, and content creation businesses - especially in the emerging worlds of virtual, immersive, and location based entertainment. He brings a key expertise to intellectual property, licensing and monetization, as well as counsel on various corporate and commercial transactions.
In addition to representing his clients, Nick enjoys talking to high school and college students about music law and the entertainment business in general. He is a frequent speaker at SXSW and a contributor to several podcasts including seminal hip hop podcast, Juan Epstein, which is hosted by his brother and longtime client, TV and radio personality, Peter Rosenberg.
When not working or spending time with his wife and 14 year old twins, he’s making his own music on MPC Live, loaded with sample packs created by his producer clients.
