Bringing African Superheroes to the World: IYANU Premieres on Max

At the intersection of culture, creativity, and commerce, we’re proud to celebrate a groundbreaking client milestone: the premiere of IYANU, the animated series created by Roye Okupe, now streaming on Max.

Based on the popular graphic novels from YouNeek Studios, IYANU follows a teenage orphan with supernatural powers who must uncover the truth about her heritage to save her world. Deeply rooted in Yoruba mythology, the series is already making waves for its vibrant storytelling and bold visual style.

Co-Managing Partner David Schnider, had the privilege of assisting Roye with his trademarks and licensing strategy, helping to pave the way for this extraordinary IP to thrive on a global stage. The show’s premiere is the culmination of years of vision, dedication, and collaboration, and we’re honored to have played a part in that journey.

Roye’s work exemplifies the power of representation and storytelling that resonates across cultures and generations—and we're thrilled to see it shine.

Congratulations, Roye, on the launch of IYANU!
