Girl Beer, and independent documentary short film produced by (former resident, local) Marena Domingo-Young, has won a prestigious Award of Recognition from The Accolade Global Film Competition in both the “Documentary Short” and “Women Filmmakers” categories. The award was given for Marena’s exciting documentary which delves into the experience of women working in the beer industry, both historically and today.
